New MVA Drivers License More Secure Than Ever

NEW SECURE CARDS

To safeguard your personal identification, the Maryland Department of Transportation’s Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) totally redesigned the driver’s license, learner’s permit and identification (ID) card to help protect against identity theft and counterfeiting. The MVA will begin issuing the new cards through the mail in June 2016. There is no fee increase for the new secure cards.
